Speakers
Eugene Qian, Senior Manager (Network Planning), Ocean Network Express Pte Ltd.
Eugene Qian currently serves as a Senior Manager (Network Planning) at Ocean Network Express Pte Ltd. With 15 years of experience in the shipping industry, he has held a number of challenging yet fulfilling stints throughout the container liner business in particular. The key functions he took include lead local sales,trade, equipment control, global operation and network planning. Prior to Ocean Network Express (“ONE”), he also worked for Pacific International Lines(“PIL”) and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (“NYK”)
Li Yan, Manager (Strategy), Accenture
Li Yan is a Manager (Strategy) in Accenture. She has strong skills in Digital Enabled Procurement and Supply Chain Transformation that includes Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions implementation to highly complex processes, which successfully achieved up to 80% automation level. Before joining Accenture, Li Yan worked in cross-functional, multi-national teams in engineering and manufacturing multinational companies across various countries including US, China and Singapore.
The moderator is Mr Ong Seng Yeow, Executive Director, Maybank Kim Eng Research and Regional Head of Research, Maybank Kim Eng.
Seng Yeow manages the research operations of six research teams in Asia and oversees equities research of listed companies and market strategy. He has over 14 years of research experience covering transport and logistics, auto, retail, small caps and special situations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Prior to joining Maybank Kim Eng, Seng Yeow had spent 9 years with Neptune Orient Lines in various senior roles.
