About Alexis Ohanian

Alexis is an expert at product, marketing, community and a prolific early stage investor. He was partner and Ambassador-to-the East for Y Combinator. He’s a cofounder of Reddit, which was funded by Y Combinator in 2005 acquired by Condé Nast in 2006 and he’s now on the Board of Directors. He helped launch hipmunk (YC 2010) and ran marketing + PR until leaving to fight SOPA & PIPA.

This event is co-presented with NTUC U Startup.

U Startup was set up in 2016 to support the thriving startup community in Singapore. It aims to connect startups to the wider NTUC network comprising of unionised companies, U SME partners, U Associate professional guilds for professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) as well as freelancers and the self-employed.
