About the Panelists
Janice Chan
Senior Digital Marketing Leader
Janice consults and speaks on a broad range of subjects on digital marketing and strategy for modern businesses. She was the Senior Director for Digital Marketing at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific for over a decade, where she grew digital revenues 5-fold through demand generation, user engagement and content marketing. She is also a highly sought after professional speaker. She frequently speaks on programmatic, data creativity, social commerce, smart content, and digital change marketing.
In her spare time, Janice supports local young entrepreneurs and change-makers as a trustee for the Awesome Foundation Singapore.
Jen Ng
Hybrid Solutions Consultant, Emerging Markets, LinkedIn
Jen’s experience spans across 4 disciplines (Consulting, Digital Marketing, Analytics, Social Media) and she has worked on a diverse mix of B2B and B2C Fortune 500 brands.
As digital marketing and social media lead for KPMG, she defines the role of digital for the firm by connecting the needs of KPMG across marketing, recruitment, employer branding and business development. She is finding ways to enable a social organization so that employees embrace digital channels for relationship building, social selling, and advocacy.
Prior to joining KPMG, she worked in Social@Ogilvy where she moved clients from a marketer to a publisher mindset where great stories come to life and meaningful conversations are built. She has developed varied social media programs and campaigns for clients like Singtel, Singapore Exchange (SGX), Prudential, IBM, American Express, Nestle and Coca Cola.
Jerrome Tan
Marketing Executive, Fuji Xerox
Jerrome Tan has a wealth of experience in Sales and Marketing as well as customer Management. Jerrome started his career as a customer relationship person, having worked in SISTIC as a Customer Service Assistant. He is always looking out on how to improve his communications with customers.
Moving on, Jerrome furthered his young career with Viacom International Media Networks as a Marketing Coordinator. He began learning the magic of marketing and how it helps an organization grow. He also learned that end sales has to depend very much on Marketing to achieve their result, which made him realize his passion for marketing.
Jerrome is a very people oriented person. Upon his graduation from University, he went on to Kaplan Learning Institute, fostering close bonds with the Kaplan Student Committee, providing guidance for students who share the same marketing passion as him. He also enhanced his marketing skills by learning from the students as well. He designed posters as well as edited videos of post events. He also kept the Facebook, YouTube and Instagram pages relevant with the current school events. He also brought Co Curricular Activities to students and marketed them to the students of Kaplan through both web site and on the ground event management. In the monthly EDMs to students, Jerrome helped to keep the students up to date with what is happening around campus.
Jerrome also has great experience in working with customers and providing excellent service recovery. He has a customer first mindset and would always consider for both the internal stakeholders as well as customer.
Jerrome has a strong vision that nobody is too difficult to handle.
Grace Clapham
Grace Clapham is an award winning entrepreneur beating over 600 entrants worldwide in 2014 to win the ‘Inspirational Leadership’ Awards at the Talent Unleashed Awards judged by Sir Richard Branson and Steve Wozniak.
A purpose driven individual, Grace considers herself a Global Citizen and a multi-hypenate who wears many hats. She has built strong communities across Southeast Asia, such as Secret {W} Business, CreativeMornings Singapore and SheSays Singapore. In 2009, she founded her first company Agent Grace, a boutique agency, where she helps companies navigate the Asia Pacific region. In 2013 she Co-Founded The Change School, a school to help people navigate through career change. Recently Grace started adding to her portfolio a coaching program for high achieving women who want to start a side hustle and move from corporate employer to a badass entrepreneurial boss.
Grace is passionate about connecting people to themselves and the world around them in order to catalyse change and re-design their lives with meaning.
Amy Slayter
