About the Instructors
Michael Ong

Michael has spent 15 years consulting in the tech space, delivering a spectrum of projects for Mobile Payments, Logistics Tracking & Surveying, Cleaning Inspection, Merchant Monitoring, Online E-Commerce and Real Estate Portals.
His clients range from startups to MNCs in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Australia. He specialises in helping companies with product strategy and development, agile practices and user experience.
Michael is passionate about helping founders chart a path towards growth and currently provides startup mentoring and coaching.
Michael speaks on the topic of Product Management and User Experience. He is involved with local community Agile Singapore and is also a co-organiser with UX Singapore and Product Works, the latter of which brings together product managers.
Fabian Lua
Head of Product (Front-End), Shopee, Garena Online
Fabian Lua is currently the Head of Product, Front-end at Shopee. Shopee is a social-first, mobile-centric e-commerce marketplace in South East Asia by Garena that has achieved more than 25 million downloads.
Previously, he was the General Manager, Singapore at Peatix, a ticketing startup. Before that, he was the Product Manager, Community at Viki, a video streaming with crowdsourced subtitles startup that was acquired by Rakuten for US$200M. Fabian graduated with a Master’s degree from MIT and an undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania.
Yi Chiao Cheng
IBM
Yitch has worked in IBM for the last 3.5 years. He is currently in a role that looks at reinventing legacy industries. In his free time he leads meetups such as Datascience SG and ProductTank.
Deepali Agarwal
Product Manager, DBS Digital Bank, Singapore
Deepali joined DBS digital banking products team in November 2014 and was one of the first product owners in DBS digital bank. In her current role, she is responsible for taking a product idea from concept, through the development process to launch.
She has over 8 years of diverse experience including product management, business development, marketing and application development. Prior to joining DBS she worked as a product marketing manager at Honeywell.
Deepali is a digital enthusiast who is passionate about the power of mobile.
